HOUSING CENTER

Housing for the North American Academy is in the Family First Sports Park’s Housing Center, conveniently located just a short walk from the indoor basketball arena located in the main fieldhouse.

The center features more than 116 air-conditioned rooms that can sleep up to 640 people, as well as a dining hall and kitchen facility that can feed up to 400 players at a single sitting. The food is prepared by a full-time chef who is well versed in the nutritional diets of elite athletes.

There are two television lounges and a game room that features a big screen theater, pool tables, air-hockey and video arcade games.

There are 4 separate wings with rooms that can sleep up to 4 students, along with two separate bathrooms per floor. Students are encouraged to bring appliances and personal computers.

There are also 5 conference rooms that can be used for breakout rooms and study hall times.

Student Life
• Dormitory features 120 air conditioned rooms with two students per room.
• Dorm Parents and Residential advisors live in the dorms with the students.
• Evening Study Hall sessions to ensure homework is completed and all questions have been answered. Mentors are on-hand during this time to help students.
• Internship program where students learn skills in areas such as Marketing, Basketball, Soccer, Event Planning, etc.
• Students receive a gym membership to Nautilus Fitness Center, located on-site.
• Students have daily chores which can include serving meals and cleaning.
• Exciting trips to Buffalo, NY; Cleveland, OH and Pittsburgh, PA, as well as trips locally to attractions and shopping.
